The race was originally scheduled to air on USA Network, but was shifted to CNBC due to a lengthy rain delay for the NASCAR Cup Series USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Kevin Lee filled in for Leigh Diffey, who was in Eugene, Oregon, as NBC's lead commentator for the United States Track & Field Olympic Trials.
This was the first NBC Sports IndyCar broadcast since the official announcement that FOX Sports would take over as the American IndyCar television broadcaster, beginning with the 2025 season.
